The ZUDEK No Borders Euro Cup 2024 ended with Real Madrid as the champions of the tournament, repeating the success of the previous edition. In a final dominated from start to finish, Real Madrid defeated Orange1 Bassano 93-44 (13-8, 44-18, 66-32), once again proving their superiority on the pitch.
In second place was Orange1 Bassano, who fought with great determination throughout the tournament and deserved a place among the best teams of the 2024 edition. EA7 Emporio Armani Milano, on the other hand, secured third place, confirming the quality of the Italian youth sector and the level of competition in this edition.
A special applause goes to the MVP of the tournament, Robinson Rhys, number 17 of Real Madrid, who led his team with excellent performances. The title of top scorer was awarded to Gideon Henry, number 2 of Orange1 Bassano, author of a series of outstanding performances that contributed to the brilliant run of his team.
Making this edition of the tournament even more special is the presence of distinguished guests from the world of basketball. Among them was Nemanja Bjelica, a former NBA champion with the Golden State Warriors and with eight years’ experience in the NBA. His surprise visit underscored how much prestige the tournament is gaining, proving that even the great champions want to be part of this event. Alongside Bjelica, another prominent figure enriched the event: Hakan Demirel, a former Fenerbahçe player coached by the legendary Bogdan Tanjevic and for many years a pillar of the Turkish national team.
