Third day of competition at the NO BORDER EUROCUP international basketball tournament featuring top European U16 teams.

THIRD DAY, FIRST MATCH

ARMANI MILANO – CEDEVITA OLIMPIJA LJUBLJANA 78:58 (26:6, 38:25, 56:41)
Second win for Armani Milano, while Cedevita Olimpija Ljubljana closes the group stage with zero points. The sprint start of Milan, author of a practically perfect first quarter, was decisive. Olimpija tried to respond in the second and third quarters, during which it pulled back to -11, but Milan was good at not being surprised and taking home the victory.

THIRD DAY, SECOND MATCH

STELLA AZZURRA ROME – ORANGE1 BASSANO 68:73 (18:22, 37:34, 53:48)

Orange1 Bassano and Stella Azzurra Roma put on a show in the challenge for first place in the group. In the end, it was Bassano who came out on top at the end of a very balanced match that saw the two teams tied on the score of 65:65 with three minutes to go. From that point on, Orange1 Bassano is good at gaining the decisive advantage with some free throws and a nice two-point basket and thus maintain the unbeaten streak.

 

THIRD DAY, THIRD MATCH

BARCELONA – PARTIZAN BELGRADE 102:56 (23:14, 49:27, 81:44)

In the third game of the group, Barcelona won its first victory at the No Borders Euro Cup 2022 tournament, while Partizan remained empty-handed for the third time. The Serbs kept pace with their opponents until the middle of the second quarter (27:21). From then on, Barcelona runs rampant on offense, as evidenced by the final score. In fact, Barcelona is very good at increasing its lead at the turn of the second and third quarter, effectively ending the match early.

 

THIRD DAY, FOURTH MATCH

REAL MADRID – BAYERN MÜNCHEN 74:42 (17:13, 38:24, 59:35)
Real Madrid also won the third game of the round and thus clinched the final of the first international No Borders Euro Cup 2022 tournament, in which it will take on Orange1 Bassano, while Bayern München remains stuck at one win. The Spaniards lead throughout the match, which allows some of the players to be able to rest ahead of tomorrow’s final.
