Are you excited to return for the second edition of the Zudek No Borders Euro Cup?
We are very excited to have received the invitation for the second edition of the tournament. After last year’s good experience, we are looking forward to this year’s edition, as it is one of the best quality and organized tournaments for the younger categories.
Do you consider it an important tournament in the European scene?
It is definitely one of the most important tournaments in Europe for this age group because teams with quality basketball programs for young players participate in it, which is very important in many ways. We would like the tournament to become a permanent part of our club’s program for this category of players in the future.
What are your expectations?
Our expectations for participation in the tournament are mainly to play quality matches and to gain new experience for the future, which is very important for all young players. The quality of the participating clubs guarantees all this, so we are looking forward to the tournament.
Is there anyone in your team who you believe can become an important player? There are players in our team who, if they work hard and with perseverance in the coming years, will be able to compete at a high international level. This tournament will also be a piece of the mosaic that will help talented players achieve their goals. How many practices do the boys have per week and how many matches do they play? Our U16 team, which will participate in the tournament, practices 5 times a week and plays 2 games on the weekend. Some players also have up to 3 additional practices in the morning, which means they have a sufficient schedule to allow them to develop.
